Resumé du document :	Depuis 2006, l’UEMOA puis la CEDEAO en 2007 ont procédé à une harmonisation des cadres législatifs et règlementaires nationaux au sein des deux espaces communautaires. . Pour ce faire, six directives relatives à l’harmonisation des politiques de contrôle et de régulation du secteur des télécommunications, à l’harmonisation des régimes applicables aux opérateurs de réseaux et fournisseurs de télécommunications, à l’interconnexion, au service universel et obligations de performance du réseau ; à l’harmonisation de la tarification des services de télécommunications ; au cadre général de coopération entre les Autorités nationales de Régulation en matière de télécommunications ont été adoptées par les organes compétents de l’UEMOA le 23 mars 20006. Chaque Etat membre avait deux (02) ans à compter de la date d’entrée en vigueur des directives pour les transposer dans sa législation nationale. Quant à la CEDEAO, elle a adopté en janvier 2007, des actes additionnels portant sur les mêmes matières que l’UEMOA destinés également à être transposés dans les législations nationales.
