C'est un ensemble de technologies utilisant à la fois les sciences de l'Information, de la Communication et de l'Informatique. Le dénominateur commun des NTIC est l'utilisation du système numérique. Que ce soit le son, le texte ou les images, tout peut être passé en version numérique et transporté à l'autre bout de la planète dans une fraction de seconde. Les technologies traditionnelles ne sont pas pour autant exclues (la radio, les journaux, le téléphone, la télévision…) du moment où ces technologies utilisent aussi des méthodes modernes, donc des nouvelles technologies. Pour dire vrai, il est mieux d'utiliser TIC (Technologies de l'Information et de la Communication) parce que toute technologie a été nouvelle à une certaine époque et les technologies d'aujourd'hui sont remises en question tous les jours avec les nouvelles découvertes. |
